We’ve been a leader in the introduction of OHL works in various DNO’s across the country and spear-headed the pilot in the UKPN region to make OHL activity contestable. And now we are doing the same with Northern Power Grid. Currently non-contestable, Northern Power Grid are working hard to make OHL BAU (business as usual). A pilot is underway with 2 ICP’s and NPG are keen to add Electrical Testing’s knowledge and experience so that they can progress OHL activity on their network and help them to meet their OFGEM’s ICE targets.
Given the demand for OHL works across the country, Electrical Testing are investing in our staff by up skilling and providing training for OHL activity. By the end of May, we will have four additional linesman who will be authorised to undertake OHL activity.
