Electrical Testing’s commitment to further the skills and quality of their workforce is yet again highlighted through their latest award. As an approved provider for Energy & Utility Skills. (EUS)
Energy and Utility Skills help employers in the energy and utilities sector attract, develop and maintain a sustainable, skilled workforce through specialist services. Since the introduction of competition in connections in 2000, the training and approval of Independent Connections Provider’s (ICP) staff has moved from the DNO to the ICP themselves. There is a desire within the industry to move towards the collaboration of employers and stakeholders to support the development of innovative solutions and common standards of competency.
As an approved provider, we have an endorsed training programme for Live LV Cable Jointing. This enables operatives who successfully complete the course to appear on the Energy and Utility Skills Register (EUSR) and be issued with an EUSR competency card, which will be recognised by ICP’s and DNO’s across the UK.
Electrical Testing are committed towards furthering the skills and training of our staff and are aiming to up skill all ICP jointing staff with an EUSR card within the coming year.
